Meet The domestique himself, Chris

Hi there and thanks for coming to check out what Domestique is all about. 

I'm Chris, the founder of Domestique and will be your in house bike fitter. I have worked within the cycling industry for over 9 years now, heading up sales, custom builds and workshops around the world, including running a boutique store in Sydney's northern beaches. I've always wanted to have my own project within the cycling space, something personal that gives off the passion I have for the sport. 

You can probably tell from the images in the gallery above that I'm pretty fond of life on two wheels and have been from a very early age. Cycling has been a huge part of my life, especially in most recent years where a shared love for the sport brought my wife and I together. Her love for Ironman distance triathlon even inspired me to join her on a 70.3 distance whilst we lived in Australia. When we decided to move back to the UK, we just knew we had to settle somewhere where nature would be all round us. The Moray coast in the Scottish Highlands, where Domestique was born 2+ years ago. As of Spring 2024, we as a family have decided on a new chapter of our lives, relocating to the lovely Northants countryside.

We're proud parents to our beautiful little girl and getting to share the love with her as she joins us on two wheeled adventures, brings us so much joy. 

When I'm not out cycling, you'll likely find me moving my body in some way, whether it be trail running, hiking, walking our dog Roxy, yoga and even slowing down to complete stillness with meditation. 

I'm sure you would agree, my passion for cycling and being in the great outdoors is something I would love to share with all. I truly believe time outside connecting with nature whether it be cycling, running, walking or hiking mountains can solve most of  life's problems.
